Dr. Rinky Kapoor is a world renowned Skin Specialist (Dermatologist), Dermato-surgeon expert and Cosmetic Dermatologist, and serves in fulfilling the growing demand in Hair, Skin and Nail care. She had been the co-founder of The Esthetic Clinic at Apollo Health City, Hyderabad and headed the Department of Cosmetic Dermatology and Lasers there from 2009-2011.

Dr. Kapoor acquired her undergraduate medical degree from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and General Hospital, Mumbai; one of India’s best medical schools. She went ahead to get specialized training in Dermatology and completed her residency from the same institution. Thereafter, she obtained the prestigious International Society of Dermatology Fellowship for the year 2008. This was the first ever international fellowship at the National Skin Centre (NSC), Singapore that has been funded by the International Society of Dermatology. The NSC is the largest and only institution of its kind in Asia that is completely armed and wholly devoted in providing comprehensive total care in Dermatology, Dermatologic lasers, Cosmetic Dermatology, and Dermato-surgery (www.nsc.gov.sg). Dr. Rinky Kapoor is a Visiting Faculty in Dermatology, Lasers & Dermato-Surgery at the Stanford Medical School, USA.

She has trained internationally in South Korea, Bangkok and USA under some of the doyens in cosmetic dermatology worldwide.

Dr. Kapoor is highly skilled in non-surgical facial skin rejuvenation and face lift by Thermage radiofrequency technique, trained by Mr. Boris Kunsevitsky (Singapore based world renowned training expert on Thermage use). She was qualified in the use of Injection Treatments for Anti-aging and fillers by Dr. Susan Weinkle (World renowned expert dermatologist on board of directors of American Academy of Dermatology, USA, practicing in Florida, USA). Dr. Kapoor headed the Department of Cosmetic Dermatology & Lasers at Apollo Health City, Hyderabad, India, for 2 years before building up the center at Fortis Mumbai. Dr. Kapoor was a Consultant Cosmetic Dermatologist at Mumbai from 2006 to 2009 and obtained experience in the latest developments in Cosmetic Dermatology under the mentorship of Dr. Rekha Sheth {Founder, President Emeritus of Cosmetic Dermatology Society (India) www.cosdermindia.in}, where she sharpened the skills required in management of elite aesthetic clients including actors, clients and models from the entertainment industry and international clientele. Here, she worked on, developed and improved the Laser suite and Dermato-surgery facility and led a team of doctors, beauty and salon professionals. She is qualified to perform, modify and redesign treatments for Indian skin. She was the chief coordinator , organising core committee, Cosmetic Dermatology Society India, and has been a Co-Investigator for clinical trials conducted at Unilever, India (2004).

Dr. Rinky Kapoor was honored with an accolade for best thesis of the year across India for 2006 at the National Conference of the Indian Academy of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) conference, 2006. She was appointed by invitation by Pantaloons Femina as Consultant Cosmetic Dermatologist for the Femina Miss India 2009 finalists, and as official skin care expert for Dance India Dance contestants for Zee Television channel, 2009. Her articles appear in top Indian newspapers like Times of India, Hindustan Times , DNA, Deccan Chronicle and many health and beauty magazines and websites etc. She has given invited lectures on skin health for many clients including corporates, medical professionals and celebrities.

Dr. Rinky Kapoor, laser skin expert and cosmetic dermatologist from The Esthetic Clinics was honoured as the “Best Dermatologist in India” at the Healthcare Excellence Summit 2015, that was organised by the Worldwide Achievers. The award was bestowed upon Dr. Kapoor by respected guests, like Dr. C. P. Thakur, MP & Former Union Cabinet Minister (Govt. of India), Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, and Honorable Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare (Government. of India), in appreciation of Dr. Rinky Kapoor’s brilliance in clinical skin care & skin research and excellence in in healthcare delivery. The event was organized on 9th December 2015, at Hotel Radisson Blu Plaza, New Delhi, India.
